Country Cabin Music Museum
Welcome to the website of Country Cabin Music Museum, Member of West Tennessee Association of Museums and Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce. We are a "Museum of Music History!"
The Museum is "Open for TOURS" Friday & Saturday 11am to 5pm OR by Calling us at 731-658-0383. We love giving tours in the Museum and we are so excited with the great response we have had. We are still receiving pictures and artifacts to go on the walls from all over the world.
We have 8 rooms full of photos, displays, "Videos & Music playing" that will take you back in time. From the Carl Perkins displays with Video of him in London, England with Eric Clampton, Ringo Star & George Harrison. A Grand Old Opry room with a 1940s radio show playing with Hank Williams and all the early stars doing commercials such as "Mother's Best Flour." A 1950s Radio Station replica with Dewey Phillips talking about his "Red Hot & Blue" show and talking about the new young star Elvis Presley. A Western Room full of singing Cowboys to take you back to your childhood and listen to Roy Rogers's last TV Concert as he and the "Son's of the Pioneers" sing Cool Water & Tumbling Tumblweed. All 8 rooms are full of photos and displays that will have you wanting to come back again, just to spend "more time" here!
We have a section for "local talent" and we don't want to leave anyone out of Hardeman County or other local areas that are musicians, singers or writers. Please help us recognize everyone, living and passed away. Just contact us or bring their picture by with their musical history. Thank you and God Bless!
If you are an entertainer and wish to be placed on these walls...just ask....we love recognizing these talented people.
